Move It Mondays: Let's Get Moving, Moonbeams! ❄️☀


Happy Move It Monday, Moonbeams! I hope you're all ready to shake off those weekend cobwebs and get your bodies moving! Whether surrounded by a winter wonderland or enjoying a sunny (maybe even slightly warm!) day, there are tons of ways to have some active fun.

For those of you lucky enough to be experiencing the magic of snow, get out there and embrace it! Think snowball fights (the friendly kind, of course!), building snowmen that would make Frosty jealous, creating epic snow forts worthy of a king or queen, and the thrill of sledding down a snowy hill. There's nothing quite like the crisp, fresh air and the sound of laughter echoing through a snowy landscape.

But what about those of us in warmer climates, like here in Texas? Don't worry, we can still have a Move It Monday! Get creative! Instead of snowballs, grab some soft crochet balls or foam balls and have a "snowball" fight in the backyard. You can even build a "snow fort" out of blankets and pillows! Turn up the music and have a dance party, go for a bike ride, or try a new outdoor activity like hiking or rollerblading. Even a simple walk in the park can do wonders for your body and mind.

Remember, Move It Monday isn't just about physical activity; it's about having fun and connecting with your body. It's about feeling the joy of movement and letting your imagination run wild. So, whether you're building a snowman or a blanket fort, playing tag in the park or dancing in your living room, make sure you're having a blast!

And don't forget to hydrate! Whether you're playing in the snow or soaking up the sun, staying hydrated is super important. Pack a water bottle and keep sipping throughout the day.
